my back hurts really bad and it feels like theres a knot in my muscle

i took 1000Mg of ibuprofen like an hour ago and its not working
so i was thinkin about poppin one of me madres muscle relaxer pills
there called carisoprodol
i just wanted to make sure im not gonna like tweak out if i do so

Taking 1000MG of ibuprofen is dangerous, lie on your back and rest I’m sure it’ll kick in soon enough if it hasn’t started already. NEVER mix drugs, and always talk with a pharmacist or doctor, i know Yahoo Answers can be very helpful, but we’re talking about something that can cause death due to drug overdose, don’t trust YA! for that.

From what I’m reading there doesn’t seem to be any drug interactions with ibuprofen.
However, that’s a lot of ibuprofen you just took. If I were you, I’d ask a doc or pharmacist first, or wait until the ibuprofen has run its course.
First off, NEVER mix drugs without talking to a pharmacist or your doctor. Secondly, taking 1000Mg of Ibuprofen is a) dangerous and b) does no more good than taking 800Mg. The body cannot process more than 800, so everything else is expelled from the body without use. Some docs and pharmacists even believe it to be 600Mg that is the cut-off…
Taking the Carisoprodol is VERY dangerous as it is not prescribed to you, as well as it is illegal. I highly recommend against it.
