i have strep throat and cough often, and in the past two days i have been coughing so much my stomach muscles now hurt whenever i cough.
also, i recently got new glasses, and it also pains me to look in another direction without turning my head, especially with my glasses off.
will advil help with this?

Strep doesn’t cause coughing. Go to your doctor. It may be mononucleosis or bronchitis.
About the glasses, it might be dehydration or a migraine from your eyes adjusting to your new glasses.
Aleve is good, and you can take Motrin like 6 hours later, even though the Aleve won’t have worn off.
Muscle pain and shivering is also due to infection and it raise body temperature. Sweating means the body temperature is lowered. For fever take paracetamol 500 mg. Avoid imodium. Drink lot of water with salt and glucose during watery diarrhea.
