I just started track and I’ve only had it for two days but my legs are as sore as if I’ve been doing it for a week straight. The worst parts are my HIPS and my KNEES. If anyone has good stretches for those… then please let me know! But any other leg stretches are excellent as well. Also, if anyone knows of any other ways to get rid of the pain/soreness, your ideas are much appreciated!
I do sprinting and its six days a week.
so its pretty harshh and i don’t have the time to just let it go away…
Chosen Answer:
Aspirin, soaking in a hot tub, some ben-gay but don’t overdo it, a heating pad, maybe some ice on the knees.
Don’t overdo it. Build up more slowly and don’t hit the pavement so hard.

i know i am in weight training and i started that a month ago and my back is really sore right now its really hard to move it or bend it.
i think you should stretch before you run, relax, dont do more than your body could handle, walking might help too
hope this helps
For muscle soreness i like glutamin or a supplement called NO2. NO2 is expensive but worth every penny. Most people use it for weight lifting but for soreness and overall strength and recovery it can not be beat. It is a hemodilator meaning it opens up the blood vessels and pushes more nitric oxide to your cells faster. If you are having soreness in your knees and hips that is from impact. Try also more core exercises and this will help overall.
