Are they going to be testing specifically for it? If they have no reason to test for it, they won't. GCMS is EXPENSIVE, so when that urine goes into that machine, they have a list of exactly what they are looking for. If it is a fairly standard "what's in your pee" kind of tests, it will likely be for marijuana, cocaine, PCP, benzos, opiates, barbiturates, amphetamines and MDMA-class drugs. None of which carisoprodol is.

I think I saw another question where you asked about Trazadone or something like that as well. They would not test for that under almost any circumstance because it is an anti-depressant, and not considered a drug of abuse nor a controlled substance. While Somas are a drug of some low-scale abuse, they are pretty much under the radar. They are not even a controlled substance in every state.

So unless those testing you have a *specific reason* for looking for these drugs, they won't test for them.

EDIT: Ohh yeah, and if for some reason they do have a reason to test for those drugs (maybe they know that those are your 2 drugs of choice or something), I would assume somas probably stay in your system for around 2 - 5 days, and Trazadone would be a bit longer, possibly 1 - 2 weeks. Of course these are just my estimates, since these are not typically drugs tested for so there is little to no literature available on the time ranges.

is the rash by chance in a circle? Perhaps like a bullseye? If so, or if he only thinks he hurt it at work, could it possibly be a bite? If so, and especially if it is in a circle, look up Lyme disease. Does he have other symptoms such as bad headache, vomiting, etc? If so, then it sounds like he has been bitten by something. Look on the internet for "rash" or "hives" or "insect bites" and click on photos
The reason I am asking these questions is because pain does not cause hives; and ironically, at this very moment I have giant hives on my legs and have had them for almost 2 months. A few months before I had the circle rash, of which I took a picture of on my phone. My doctor just blew it off and said it wasn't a Lyme Disease bullseye. However, I have since changed doctors, and there a several pictures of the bullseye rash on the internet and they don't all look alike, and a few of them are identical to mine. I am having a test for Lyme Disease on Wednesday.
Sorry for going on and on about this, but I thought it was important to share this info. Good luck to you both.

Try heat - a hot bath, hot shower, hot water bottles, or even those ointments or pads that create heat. That might help.

Lots of doctors do not prescribe soma and vicodin together because of those "effects" Her doctor could change the soma to a different muscle relaxer like flexeril or Skelaxin... both medications don't interact with the vicodin as much as the soma does. Also, soma usually only works well for a few weeks, then she will build a tolerance for it.

You could have pulled a muscle or it could be, like you said a simple muscle pain.

Eat protein foods chicken and eggs. Protein is responsible for repairing muscle. Try protein drinks as well. These types of foods and drinks will also help with future muscle growth.

Secondly try massaging the area of pain. As well as basic stretches of the area.

if you just started working out, muscle soreness is fine. but if you think you overdid it, just constantly stretch over a period of a few days and it should go away.
