Chosen Answer:

A common cause of calf pain is poor circulation.
However it can be caused by overuse, or even hardening of
the arteries.
Your mom is at the age where it might not be a bad
idea to have a doctor check it, just to be safe.

Why do I have shoulder pain when I play tennis?

Well I’ve been playing tennis for about 7 years. I quit about a year ago and I’ve come back to the game experiencing mild shoulder pain during play.

I don’t think it’s the muscle – I sort of feel pain on the shoulder joint and the sensation feels like my arm is coming off.

Mind you that I am an intermediate player. Nothing special at all… But my serves are flat and around the 140 km/h at most. Hurts especially when I serve. Even just a light ‘get it in’ 90 km/h serve. Doesn’t hurt on my ground strikes though. Or maybe I just don’t notice it.

Can someone maybe suggest a racket that might suit this kind of abnormal injury… And perhaps a string as well.

I’m planning to visit the doctor soon so yeah…

Chosen Answer:

try an get the tissue around the shoulder stronger
get it warmed up.. strecth it.. get it massaged out sometimes
ice it an heat it
take some warm baths

an take some chrondrotion/glucosome for your joints.. it works big time

also dont sleep on your shoulder at all..

You should get this checked out….You might have an ovarian cyst. I don’t think that you’re pregnant. I’ve never heard of that as a symptom of pregnancy.

Anyone ever have pain in their stomach / abs after using an inversion table?

Just curious, I’ve been using an inversion table for about 3 days now, just for a couple minutes at a time about 3x a day, and it feels like a light stomach ache or something since the last time I used it. I’m definitely stopping till the pain goes away – which so far has persisted for 12 hours. It isn’t a sharp pain, just kinda like a pulled muscle kind of pain. Anyone else ever get this from using an inversion table?

Chosen Answer:

Dude, I would take it easy for a while like you said. This sounds like you have over extended yourself, probably from doing too much too quickly. I found a site that helps getting your abs in shape without excessive exercise that causes pain.

do I have gallbladder pain or muscle pain?

I have pain upon touching to the right of the belly button and pain near my hip. When I massage the tender spots, it also feels like they are swollen. Besides pain upon touching, I really have no other symptoms.
And also, I dont really have an attack of the gallbladder. Its more like the tender spots next to my belly button and hip are always tender to touch. They haven’t really subsided till now. So is it muscle strain or gallbladder pain?

Or something else?

How to stop muscle pain after working out?

I think I strained my muscles while doing sit ups yesterday and today I have really bad pain in that area and it kinda hurts it when I pee I don’t know the technical way to say this but it feels like my pee tube (Is ashamed for saying that) is being stretched and it also feels that way sometimes when I just move to quickly? What exactly have I done to myself? And how long will it take to fix itself?
Ok thanks for answering :)

Chosen Answer:

I don’t think you strained or pulled anything. You could’ve but I doubt. Your muscles have fibers that are ripped apart and are repairing. Anytime you don’t use a muscle enough and then suddenly use it repeatedly and at high intensity, it will hurt for a few days.

Just stay hydrated, eat plenty of food and plenty of food that contains protein, and sleep. You need your sleep more than usual to let your body take care of itself.

Also crunches are more effective than situps. Situps use other body parts to thrust you up each repetitions. Try crunches. Do the crunches that require you to touch your elbows to your thighs each repetition. Also be sure to have the very top of your back and shoulders to hit the floor every rep. Your head does not have to.

would kidney pain feel similar to muscle pain?

I have a pain in my mid to lower left back area. It feels like a muscle pain but there is a possibility that vitamin overdose could be effecting my kidney. would this kind of pain feel similar to a muscle pain?
There is also a possibility of a pinched nerve because a lesser pain going from the left of my neck all down my left arm.

Chosen Answer:

I don’t think this is a kidney problem. Muscle pain feels very different from internal kidney pain. Pain in the kidneys is usually from kidney stones, which is sharp pain which comes in waves.

If you have a kidney infection or some mild kidney disease it would likely show some more symptoms such as jaundice. blood in urine or nausea.

My mom has been experiencing pains but we don’t know what it is?

It’s under her left breast then connecting to her back bone, it feels like muscle pain and she says he feels air inside her body. Please help if you know what it is.

Chosen Answer:

Some times excess gas can make you feel the way you explained and before jumping to anything major let your mom have a warm cup of mint with honey in it but for faster relief from gas she can try chewing two Maalox pills or Rennie which do wonders for that extra gas. If the pain has not subsidized after an hour then she should get a doctor to see her ….Just remembered that cold pains can also hit that area and make it feel as if some one is driving a knife into you and the warm mint will be great to help that too….try both the mint with honey as well as the pills I told you about and hopefully like I said it could be just gas
