Pain in muscles in arms and legs?

I have had bronchitis last summer, started experiencing back pain, got diagnosed with bronchitis again. I was given antibiotics and now, 6 days in to the cure Ive started experiencing joint and muscle pain in my legs and arms. The doctor said it was because of the the antibiotics, but Im not sure, and im really worried. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Is it a good idea to workout while your muscles ache ?

I usually workout about 4 times a week, but yesterday it was my first workout in about 8 days or so, i did alot of abs, shoulders and biceps and legs too. But my muscles are hurting like hell. Is it bad to workout while this ache is goin on ? if not should i just have some muscle milk during the pain?

Chosen Answer:

Yes, it is a bad idea to work out the part of the body that is aching from a day after workout. The reason why your body aches in the first place is because you worked those muscles well and now they need some down time to heal up. Wait until the pain is almost gone or completely gone to workout those muscles again.

How to treat pain in my sides?

In gym class, we were doing ab exercises. We had to do crunches for 5 minutes straight, then rest for a minute, then do it again. Our grades were lowered if we stopped. He didn’t have us warm up beforehand, and we didn’t cool down afterward. No I woke up this morning with bruises all up and down my sides, legs, and arms, and I could barely move. I have plans to go with some friends later, what can I do to loosen up the stiff muscles and stop the pain?

Chosen Answer:

The pains in your sides are caused by tight back muscles pressing onto the nerves going around your body to be pains in the sides or front of your body. To get rid of these pains you have to free up your back muscles to release the pressure on the nerves and here’s how to free them up for relief for those pains:
Back:
(do while sitting)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax the body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed

Who else, when menstruating and have bad cramping, does the pain radiate down their legs?

Not just the muscles, but the joints have pain as well. Bad enough that it’s uncomfortable to walk.
Or bad nausea … or feel such relief when a cramp passes that you get chills and cry?

Chosen Answer:

Yeah, I used to suffer of back and low pelvic pain that radiated down my legs. The nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches and dizziness. My period was long as well as heavy. Not to mention I turned into an evil witch as well LOL.

I’d miss school when I was younger. As I got older, i’d miss work or had to leave work. It’s debilitating and literally controls your life. After I had my 2 sons, I was on depo for a few yrs then had a tubal ligation. All seemed to be fine but years later, about 2yrs ago, it all came back. I was placed on b/c pills at first which didn’t help but depo has and have been on it for a yr now, and as it is, no problem. Thankfully.

If you haven’t discussed your symptoms with your dr., you should. He/she can help you find a treatment to alleviate the bothersome symptoms.

Why do my legs hurt next day after running the previous day?

Yesterday when I was in the gym I walked on treadmill for 16 mins and ran for 4 mins. Today my calf muscles are really paining. I usually only walk on treadmill. I have never felt the pain next day. Today it is killing me…Any reason why running is painful than walking?

Chosen Answer:

Well usually after training, running or even exercising muscle tend to be used to a certain degree and some muscles and parts of the body may have never been used before and this results in the muscles being sore the next day. It is a form of recovery system for the body. However if it feels abnormal and strange/ extremely painful maybe get it check out however deepening on the situation . .. hope this helps :)

How do you help muscle pain?

I am running to lose weight and to join the military. I run every morning but my muscles in my legs are killing me. I tried to take a day or two break but when I went back to running it seemed to be worse. I don’t want to stop running. My body is wanting to continue to run but my legs will not. I have tried Ice hot rub and pain meds and nothing helps much for the actual run. Any advice?
Some one told me that protein shakes help with muscle pain. I have tried protein but the mix tastes horrible and it makes me sick to my stomach.

Chosen Answer:

Stretch before and after you run. How far are you running maybe take shorter runs and build up more slowly? Sounds like you are over exerting your muscles. Try walking instead of running for a few days until your muscles recover and then slowly get back into the running.
