what can I do with painful strained leg and hip muscles?

4 months ago I strained my leg and hip muscles that happened at work. The pain gone but today I felt the same pain. I have a hard time lifting my leg and if I put pressure into it I’ll suffer hip pain. It’s very painful. It’s not sciatic pains, is this normal?

Chosen Answer:

RICE is the standard treatment protocol for mild to moderate muscle strains.
Rest. Avoid putting weight on the hip. Your doctor may suggest using crutches for the first day or two after the injury.
Ice. Gently massage the area with ice to help decrease swelling.
Compression. Compression shorts or a wrap bandage may be helpful.
Elevation.

muscle health = Stretching = increased oxygenated nourishing blood flow to the extremities

The key is to increase blood flow to the problem area; fresh nourished blood has vital oxygen
and energy that aides to eliminate the pain and heal the body

The only way to get reinforcements inside our highly complex human body is through the
Circulatory systems that provide vital source needed for all life — which is oxygen and the
carrier being blood.

Unfortunately the blood through your arteries is not like free flowing water through a plumbing
System — the blood needs to be pushed into the remote areas and the impure blood needs to be
Pumped back against gravity to the heart for oxygenation.

Due to lack of activity or stress or sedentary / busy life style
Stretching is not occurring and there is a blood traffic jam in the pipes (thereby increasing free radicals in the impure blood #1 aging accelerator ) and blood circulation weakens which causes several chronic ailments like

What are the causes of my fourteen year old sister’s foot pains?

She has been having foot pains for the past six or seven hours. We did walk around the city today, but it was only for a half an hour. Is it growing pains? Muscle strains?

Chosen Answer:

It’s not likely to be growing pains. She is 14 now, and most girls stop growing entirely by then. It may be a lot of things, depending on where the pains are in her foot. It could be a corn, plantar fasciitis (ball of foot), a calcaneal spur (heel), strained tendons along the foot, or the re-aggravation of an injury. Knowing where it hurts helps figure out what it is, or at least could be. Resting it should help a lot, but if it doesn’t, a visit to a doctor (podiatrist, maybe) might be in order. . . .

Why do I have extreme pain when my leg falls asleep?

After my leg falls asleep I don’t experience a tingly sensation but an extreme pain as the feeling returns to my leg. Every time the feeling begins to return to my leg I get extreme, immobilizing pain. If I move one muscle then a wave of pain and muscle tension shoots through me before everything gradually fades and returns to normal. I usually just grit my teeth and take deep breaths and try not to move while the feeling is returning. Is it normal for the pain to be this bad?

Chosen Answer:

I have that sometimes. I think you’re fine, but if it continues I would go to the doctor.

How can I soothe my muscle pain?

Hi, my shoulder and neck muscles have been aching pretty badly for a while now, probably because my sleeping positions and because I sit in front of my computer for most of the day. I wanted to know how I can help soothe this pain. I have this ‘ice hot’ cream/lotion that I can apply to it, but it only helps temporarily. I feel really unhealthy, so if there’s anything I can eat/stay away from or some sort of exercise I can do to help this matter, that would help a lot! Thanks!!!

Chosen Answer:

Stretch after you wake up. Or you could just change your sleeping position. Usually for me it goes away by itself.

Chosen Answer:

A common cause of calf pain is poor circulation.
However it can be caused by overuse, or even hardening of
the arteries.
Your mom is at the age where it might not be a bad
idea to have a doctor check it, just to be safe.

What are some ways I can heal a pulled muscle?

I believe I pulled muscle when I was running. The pain is in the arch of my foot and everytime I walk or stand I just feel a pain. I wanna try some ways to take care it at home before I go to a doctor.

Chosen Answer:

When you pull a muscle there really isn’t much you can do, it just takes time to heal. You just need to take it easy, but don’t baby it. If you baby it, it could possibly make the injury worse then it originally was. For example, do some stretches and stretch out that muscle. But defiantly go to the doctor to get it looked at. Hope this helped -Mila
