I have a pain behind my thigh, what kind of specialist should I see?

I’ve had this pain in the muscle behind my thigh for about two months now. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor about it, and he says he is able to fix it however it is getting worse. It has gotten to the point where I can’t really walk around or sit, I have to lay down. I’m 45 years old. What kind of specialist do I need to see? I feel my chiropractor is doing no good please help!

Chosen Answer:

You should not see a specialist yet. You need to see your regular doctor. After they assess you, they will either diagnose you or refer you to where you need to go.

Are muscle pains at 8 weeks pregnant normal?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and for the last few days have been getting pains that feel like a pulled muscle in my stomach. There is no bleeding and the pains are quite mild. This is my first pregnancy so i’m worrying a little.

Can anyone put my mind at ease?

Chosen Answer:

No need to worry this is called (round ligament pain) and it is exactly what you described it is muscles being pulled/stretched because your abdomen is expanding to make room for baby. This is very normal all pregnant women get it and you will continue to experience this through out your entire pregnancy.I know you said this is your first pregnancy so i can understand your concern and you will have alot more questions as to what is happening to your body as you get further along.Just remember any time something is happening and your not sure what it is you can call your doctor and they will explain it to you and put your mind at ease :)

good luck and congrats :)

Why do I sometimes get a pain in my anus after an orgasm?

Very strange but for a few months now I sometimes get a real pain in my anus after I orgasm. I cannot sit or lie down afterwards. It seems to disappear after about 20 minutes and it does help if I walk around. This doesn’t happen after every orgasm. I don’t know if it’s related but I have started to dribble after weeing as well.

Chosen Answer:

It sounds like you have some weak muscles and need to do Kegel exercises to strengthen them. The muscles involved in having an orgasm and stopping your urine stream are the same. That’s probably why you dribble too. Do 25 Kegels every day, holding them for a 5 second contraction. You’ll see a big difference in a couple if weeks, and the pain should disappear when you orgasm.

muscle health = Stretching = increased oxygenated nourishing blood flow to the extremities

The key is to increase blood flow to the problem area; fresh nourished blood has vital oxygen
and energy that aides to eliminate the pain and heal the body

The only way to get reinforcements inside our highly complex human body is through the
Circulatory systems that provide vital source needed for all life — which is oxygen and the
carrier being blood.

Unfortunately the blood through your arteries is not like free flowing water through a plumbing
System — the blood needs to be pushed into the remote areas and the impure blood needs to be
Pumped back against gravity to the heart for oxygenation.

Due to lack of activity or stress or sedentary / busy life style
Stretching is not occurring and there is a blood traffic jam in the pipes (thereby increasing free radicals in the impure blood #1 aging accelerator ) and blood circulation weakens which causes several chronic ailments like
Back pain , stress, fatigue , depression , lethargy , aging , early wrinkles , low immunity etc…

What are some ways I can heal a pulled muscle?

I believe I pulled muscle when I was running. The pain is in the arch of my foot and everytime I walk or stand I just feel a pain. I wanna try some ways to take care it at home before I go to a doctor.

Chosen Answer:

When you pull a muscle there really isn’t much you can do, it just takes time to heal. You just need to take it easy, but don’t baby it. If you baby it, it could possibly make the injury worse then it originally was. For example, do some stretches and stretch out that muscle. But defiantly go to the doctor to get it looked at. Hope this helped -Mila

In my exercise routine, I do stomach crunches. Now the muscles around my tail bone are tender and pain.?

I need to sit at my desk for long durations. When I get up, the sore muscles give me pain. Otherwise the bone or any exercise is not a problem. What is the remedy ?

Chosen Answer:

Hi Dear

If you do rest of the Body Exercises with Intensity and right breathing you don’t need to do crunches.
Later in life they are a cause for slip disc. Also probably you are not doing the crunches the right way.

What is the cause and cure for lower back pain?

Help me to rid this throbbing back pains, please i need no medicine or pain killers.

Chosen Answer:

It could be anything, nerve problem, muscle problem or a number of other things…It is impossible to answer your question without knowing what the actual problem is. Go to your Doctor and have him/her send you for a CT or MRI scan.
The wrong type of treatment or exercises can do more damage than good and you need to have your back properly diagnosed prior to ANY treatment.
Again you do need to have a CT / MRI scan or such done before allowing ANYONE to touch your back.

Get a professional opinion from the radiologist doing the scan in his report to your doctor and then go from there.

How do I prevent muscle soreness from running?

I’ve just started up running and I’ve been running for about four weeks. After every run, I tend to have a lot of pain from muscle soreness. It’s not as bad as it was in the beginning, but I still wouldn’t mind preventing it in some way. A friend of mine recommended stretching before and after running, but this really only alleviates the pain for a few minutes. What else can I do to prevent soreness?

Chosen Answer:

You need to prevent the soreness while you are running. You are probably holding your muscles too tight and creating tension. You need to learn how to keep your body relaxed while running. I used to have this problem too. I was always sore after running and I keep stretching and stretching, but I would still feel stiff and sore. Now I practice being relaxed while running and I rarely stretch any more.

I hope this works for you too.
